Example button

The landing page’s example product is Orbit Burger, a space burger delivery app. Its “Launch order” button is shown in two states: main (Nova 500, radius 8) and change (Nova 600, radius 24). The rounder corners are obvious; the darker blue is easy to miss. That is the point of scene 03, where a person decides on the differences.

Story: /stories/example-button/states/

  • Reads only the example’s variables (--colors-brand-primary, --colors-text-on-primary, --radius-card), built with DTA from site/examples/orbit-burger and scoped under [data-example="orbit-burger"][data-state]. Nothing of the page’s own palette, so it reads as a customer’s component.
  • Large text (19 px bold): the brand blue carries its label at 4.5:1 in both states, which is AAA for large text; at body size it could not.
  • The label above says which state it is: “main” in fg-muted, “this change” in action-text.
  • It is an image of a button (role="img"), not a control.
